Oscar (Owen) Dalbeck

    Dalbeck, Oscar O., 80, February 8, 2011.  Arrangements by Dunn Funeral Home, Houlton.  Interment to be held in the Bridgewater Corner Cemetery.
    MONTICELLO – O. Owen Dalbeck, 80, died Feb. 8, 2011 at a local hospital. He was born Aug. 30, 1930 at Bridgewater, the son of Oscar L. and Clytie (MacDonald) Dalbeck.
    Owen was retired military serving in both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force and served in Korea during the war. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.
    Owen is survived by three sisters, Gloria Young and her husband, Keith, of Ripples, NB, Canada, Marilyn High and her husband, Robert, of Venice, FL, Nan Debty of Andrews, NC; two brothers, Clayton of Brooklyn, NY, Eugene and his wife, Greta, of Copperhill, TN; several nieces and nephews.
    Owen’s family wishes to thank the nurses and doctors of Houlton Regional Hospital for their excellent care.
    Private funeral services were held at Dunn Funeral Home Friday. Interment will take place at the Bridgewater Corner Cemetery. Friends may make gifts in Owen’s memory to Cancer Research, c/o Dunn Funeral Home, 11 Park Street, Houlton, ME 04730.
