Sen. Susan Collins will be sharing her love of reading with area children on Friday, Feb. 25 at 9:30 a.m. at the Caribou Public Library as part of the library’s 100th anniversary celebration.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for local children to have their very own senator read to them and it ties in so nicely with the library’s birthday celebration as Sen. Collins worked at the library as a student page while in high school,” stated Library Director Diane DuBois. “Sen. Collins provided a number of story hour programs as a student page and we are delighted to have her back sharing her joy of reading once again with area children,” she added.
Young readers who are in grades 2-4 are invited to attend this fun-filled event. Pre-registration is requested.
