    HOULTON – Matthew C. Reed, 34, died March 5, 2011 in Houlton, Maine. He was born October 8, 1976 in Rutland, VT the son of the Rev. Dr. Charles and Barbara (Gardner) Reed.
     Matthew enjoyed all of nature including hunting, fly fishing and trapping. He was also a fly tying instructor for Macs Trading Post, a member of the Shiretown Baptist Church, a wonderful husband and father and really enjoyed the community drama club.
    He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Misty (Cone) Reed; his children, Samantha Rose, Alexandra Jadelyn, Jacklyn Jaysa, and Brandy, all of Houlton; his parents of Greenville, IL; siblings, Rev. Richard Barnes of El Centro, CA, Patti Barnes Phillips of Bartlett, NH and Jason Eldrith Reed of Greenville, IL; father-in-law, Linwood M. Cone of Rochester, NH; mother-in-law, Patricia V. Cone of Hodgdon, ME; four nephews; a niece and several cousins.
