BU-Rotary Bingo-dcx-pt-11ROTARY EVENT — Rotarians gather at last year’s Rotary Bingo Night.

Anybody 16 years of age or older is welcome. There will be a special guest announcer this year from the Linnues Snowmobile Club, Jock Gentle.
Hot dogs, homemade soups, chili and desserts will be available for purchase.
All proceeds from this event will go to support the Rotary Youth Exchange Program, which was established in Houlton in 2003. Houlton Rotary will send three students from area schools on a six to eight week foreign exchange this year. The primary objective of the program is to advance the knowledge and world understanding of these students while also fostering world peace and good will at a personal level.  Rotary hopes that young people will be able to observe firsthand the struggles and accomplishments of other countries by living with and meeting people of cultures and creeds other than their own. The club is pleased to provide local teens with this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
