SAD 70 pre-K, kindergarten registration on tap

    HODGDON — SAD 70 (Amity, Cary, Haynesville, Hodgdon, Linneus, Ludlow, New Limerick and Orient) will conduct registration for students entering Kindergarten and the Pre-K program on Wednesday, March 23, Thursday, March 24, and Friday, March 25 at the Mill Pond School office.
    To be eligible for kindergarten, a student must be 5-years-old on or before Oct. 15 of 2011. To be eligible for Pre-K, the child must be 4-years-old by Oct. 15, 2011.
    When registering your child, parents will need to bring the child’s vaccination records, his/her birth certificate, and social security number (optional).
    SAD 70 offers a full-day kindergarten program. Pre-K classes meet for half days Monday through Thursday. Parents with children eligible for either program who have not received a pre-registration letter are asked to contact Loreen Willey, school principal, at 532-9228.
    Those children already enrolled in the Pre-K program do not need to pre-register for Kindergarten.
