International gospel singer to perform in Littleton

   LITTLETON, Maine — Singer, songwriter and evangelist Ed Sealy will perform at the Littleton United Baptist Church Friday, March 25, at 7 p.m. and again Sunday, March 27, at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
There will also be a supper and wild game tasting event at the Southern Aroostook Agricultural Museum Saturday, March 26, from 5-7 p.m., sponsored by the Christians Sportsmen Fellowship.
    Sealy has recorded six albums, with his latest entitled “Thy Kingdom Come.” Many of the songs, which are all written by Sealy, deal with the return of Christ. His previous recordings have enjoyed international success.
Socan, a company which tracks air play for artists, has recorded air play of Sealy’s music in 40 different countries around the world. He records at Outreach Productions in Fredricton, N.B. His latest album features many versatile musicians, while Sealy plays much of the guitar in the sessions. The songs come from a wide range of experiences he has faced
At the 2004 New Brunswick Gospel Music Hall of Fame awards, Sealy received a Mercy Award for male artist of the year. He was born in Bathurst, N.B. After graduation from high school, he moved to Amherst, Nova Scotia, where he opened a chain of fast food restaurants. He left he business world to study ministry and later pastured a church in Bellville, N.B.
He founded “Furtherance Ministries” in 1998, with a purpose of furthering the gospel around the world. He is married with three children and resides in Wakefield, N.B.
