Maine Maple Sunday is this weekend and local maple producers are opening their sugarhouse doors.
Saturday and Sunday, Spring Break Maple & Honey on Route 2 in Smyrna Mills will be celebrating Maine Maple Weekend.     There will be a guided sugarbush tour (wear boots) on Sunday at 1 p.m. Also on tap for the weekend is a tour of the sugarhouse, maple product demonstrations, sugar on the snow, along with maple sundaes and baked beans.

Bradbury Maple Farms will hold an open house Saturday and Sunday, as well as April 2-3 and April 9-10 from 1-5 p.m.
Those attending the open house may watch the maple process, visit the sugar bush and enjoy maple taffy on the snow.
