The steps in Rachel’s Challenge pretty much mean that if you’re going to bully somebody that maybe, just maybe you should think about how you would feel if you were the one getting bullied on! She wanted to touch many hearts of people and start a chain reaction. “You never know how far a little kindness can go.” She didn’t want to be labeled as average because she wasn’t average, she was special in her own way, and many people knew that! She changed many peoples’ lives and that is so inspiring!
I think I can do Challenge 5, Start a Chain Reaction with Family and Friends. I accept to do this challenge because sometimes you really will never know how far a little kindness will get you. It could go a long way, but as long as you try, than it’s okay. Sometimes people may have a bad day, but it wouldn’t hurt you to just say hey, hope you feel better! We all have our ups and our downs, but the way people treat us sometimes can always help in some way. I would like to do all 5 of these challenges. Rachel made a big difference in this world! She is an inspiration.
Well I think I could make a big difference in the world, just by smiling at some kids if they are having a bad day or just by sitting with somebody at lunch who is sitting by their self. Just giving somebody a hug or a pat on the back, it may not seem like much to you, but to the other person it will mean a lot. Sometimes kindness is the way to go!
Challenge 5 is the one I want to focus on for a while. Why? Because sometimes you may not know it but you could save somebody’s life. Some people don’t have friends and just by you giving them some attention can just make them feel good inside. So just remember kindness can go a long ways in life! You should never judge somebody by the way he/she looks or talks or maybe even dresses. Give them a chance and maybe you will save a life someday, just by showing a little kindness.
In my story I have talked about kindness and how far you can go by just showing a little respect and comfort to those who need it. Some people are different yes, but does that mean you should judge them? No! Yes, you may hear this a lot but it’s true, “Treat others the way you want to be treated.” If you don’t care what people think then you’re going to be fine, but just always remember, kindness goes far in life, no matter who you are!
