In Rachel’s Challenge there are 5 goals. The first one is Look for the Best in Others – Eliminate Prejudice. This is about saying remarks that are mean or rude to a person. Second thing is dare to dream- set goals – keep a journal. It is about keeping your goals either for that day or for the next day. Also it is about the good things you do to a person or for a person. Third thing is choose positive influences – input determines output is about helping someone when needed. The fourth challenge is kind words and actions = huge results. This is about just one smile to a person can make a change in someone’s life. Fifth thing is start a chain reaction with family and friends. This is when one person does something respectful to another. Hopefully, they will keep it going and start a chain reaction. Out of these goals, I am picking the second one, “Dare to Dream.”

The reason why I have chosen dare to dream – set goals – keep a journal challenge is because when Rachel Scott wrote in her journals, it inspired me to do the same, to write what I feel about my day and the goal I will set for the next day for me to accomplish.

I could make a difference using the dare to dream challenge by putting down how everything was that day, and my goals and showing friends and family and telling them about the journal I keep. I could show people who haven’t heard of Rachel’s Challenge, encouraging those people to start working on some of the goals Rachel’s Challenge gave to us.

Writing in a journal is for the people who really want to do the challenge, so they can put their time to start a chain reaction. I would be so glad to show everyone what I am doing to try to start a chain reaction and to make a difference. I could also set goals to tell people about the Rachel’s Challenge. To set goals about her story and changing other people’s way in life and to help the ones who need some help from a friend.

In the report “How I can Make A Difference” I am talking about explaining the steps in Rachel’s Challenge. Also I’m telling you which challenge I am willing to take, how I am going to do so, like writing in a journal and sharing the goals I choose to make. I can make a difference while doing my challenge.
