Scottish Terriers are small and are a few colors like grey, white, but mostly black. They have long heads, and a long wiry coat. The Scottish Terrier (AKA Scotty) has pointed ears and a short tail. The male Scotty usually weighs about 19 to 22 pounds, the female Scotty can weigh 18 to 21 pounds. Even though they have a different amount of pounds, they both have the same height and life span. The height is about 10 inches at shoulders, and life span in 11 to 13 years.
The Scotty is a good swimmer we heard, too. One fact that we just learned was that the Scotty is cousins with the West Highland White Terrier. But one thing we did know they were breed in a place called Great Britan.
