How we can help

I would like to help the children in Columbia. I can help these children by writing a letter to the Secretary of State. I would ask the Secretary to help me send food to Columbia. I would like to do this because it’s a war torn country and there is very little food. This would make me very happy to help make the world a better place.

I am a person who likes to help others. I love to cooperate with my mom and dad by being respectful. I can do that by doing what they ask with no rudeness. I need to be trustworthy so they will believe me. I can show that I am responsible when I take care of the gifts they give me. I can help care for them when they are sick. I can warm soup, get crutches from the garage, I could get tissues for them, and I could get the inhaler. I want to be a thoughtful daughter.

This is how I could help. I could help my Mom with the laundry. I could also help my Dad by helping him shovel the yard, so people can drive in and out. I can help my friends by playing with them, so they are not bored or feeling bad. I can help my Grandmother by going to see her because I keep her company and it makes her happy. I can help the earth by picking up litter and by keeping the air and water clean. This is how I could help.

How can I help other people? I could assist my mom by cleaning, helping with the yard work, and cooking. I can help my Dad in the winter by shoveling. I can assist my teacher by bringing her things that she needs. I could keep my relatives company and make them feel better. I could assist a little kid with reading. That is how I could help other people.

I can help by helping the earth if I recycle. I can recycle paper, cans, bottles, and magazines. I can also support the earth by planting flowers and trees. I can help pets find a good home. If there is a lost dog, I can take it to the shelter. Then someone might come and look at it and take it to their home. I can help people by donating things after and earthquake, tornado and floods. I could donate food and blankets to them because after a flood, earthquake or tornado people lose a lot of stuff. I help younger kids do their work at my Nana’s daycare. I usually help them with math. I can help people by donating food to the food pantry. I can also help support animal shelters by donating money so they could make more room for more animals. That’s how I can help.

I have assisted my Papa by cleaning the car. My Dad and I have served my teacher’s brother’s needs to get out of the snow. He had gotten stuck in the snow and my Dad and I shoveled him out. I can improve the earth by picking up litter on the ground. I have supported my Dad by pumping gas into the big truck. I have relieved my sisters when they were tired from shoveling and plowing. So I plowed the drive way and shoveled the steps for them. That is how I can and do help.
