Saucier promoted
WASHBURN — Major General John W. Libby, The Adjutant General, Maine National Guard, has announced the promotion to the rank specified below for the following Maine Army National Guard soldier: Karl Saucier, Jr., SPC, of Washburn, of the Recruiting & Retention Battalion.
Saucier was promoted in February 2011.
Pendexter re-enlists
MAPLETON — Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Ryan P. Pendexter, son of Lori A. Pendexter of Mapleton, and Gary S. Pendexter, of Mapleton, recently re-enlisted for six years while serving with Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron Four, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma City. Pendexter is a 2005 graduate of Hampden Academy and joined the Navy in October 2006.
