    Who can park in a handicap parking space legally? It’s a question we are often asked. Those spaces are only for those people that have a handicap/disability plate or placard.
    For those of you who need to park in a Handicap parking space, you also need to pick up an application, fill it out, get your doctor to fill out his/her part, and then it needs to be taken to your nearest Motor Vehicle Branch Office, or mailed to: Registration Section, Bureau of Motor Vehicle, 29 Station, Augusta, Me. 04333-0029.
