LAST-MINUTE DETAILS — Lauren Faulkner, left, helps untangle Lisa-Marie Mean’s tassel prior to Northern Maine Community College’s commencement exercises, which were held Saturday at The Forum in Presque Isle. The Mars Hill cousins both received certificates in medical coding. With 274 graduates being awarded associate degrees and certificates, this was the first time that NMCC’s graduation ceremony was held off-campus since NMCC was founded in 1961.
A story and more photos from NMCC’s commencement will appear in next week’s issue of The Star-Herald.
