Legion honors Wilsons

On Saturday, Feb. 26, the Ray Goding Post #88 of the American Legion in Presque Isle was the recipient of a memorial luncheon presented by the Ladies Auxiliary of the Post. It was held in recognition of the many contributions and services of its veterans to the country and the community, noting the sacrifices of each veteran — many from this area having made the supreme sacrifice.
Commander Paul Wilson accepted this recognition of the many contributions of the Post’s 188 members, many of whom were present on this occasion with their families.
Legion Auxiliary President Betty Wilson stood at attention as the statement of appreciation and recognition was read to the veterans
The buffet luncheon was prepared and served by its Auxiliary members.
