CARIBOU — Beginning Thursday, June 2, the Caribou Ecumenical Food Pantry will be open on Thursdays only until Friday, Sept. 2.
The pantry is located at 49 Herschel Street in Caribou and serves the communities of Caribou, Connor, Perham, Wade, Washburn and Woodland. In order to receive assistance, applicants must call the pantry at 493-4860 between 10 and 11 a.m. to answer a few questions in order to determine eligibility. Food is to be picked up between 11 to 11:30 a.m.
Churches supporting the Caribou Ecumenical Food Pantry are Gray United Methodist, Holy Rosary, St. Luke’s Episcopal, Unitarian Universalist Congregation, Faith Lutheran and Lidstone United Methodist.
