Doubletap to play for Project Graduation event

MONTICELLO — For more than 30 years, Project Graduation has provided Maine high school seniors a safe and chemical-free environment to celebrate the end of one chapter in their lives and the beginning of another.  These events are not possible without the help of the community, from fund-raising to donating time, space and other resources to the graduates.
On June 18, during the upcoming Monticello Fun Days, Houlton’s own blues band “Doubletap” is hosting the “Downriver Blues” on the lawn of the Monticello Fish and Game Club to raise money and awareness for Project Graduation.
Admission is $6 per person, $10 for couples, $20 for families of four or more.  Kids 12 and under are free! Please bring your own non-alcoholic refreshments. This is an all-ages show.
The evening’s live performance will kick off at 8 p.m., with “Doubletap,” whose high-energy “rockin’ blues” performance will keep people from sitting too long.
