    LINNEUS – Les Sawyer, 33, died June 28, 2011, in Weston. He was born Aug. 31, 1977, in Houlton, the son of Gary and Linda (Sewell) Sawyer.
    He owned Sawyer Concrete Construction. He is survived by his parents; his partner of 16 years, April Barnes; their children, Samuel and Parker Sawyer, all of Linneus; five sisters, Melissa and Tony, Heather, Betsy and Joe, Vicki and Thom, Heidi and Mark; one brother, Beau and Todd; nieces and nephews, Dakota and Emma, Hailey and Joey, Shanisha and Alex, Duska and Josh, Cody and Samantha; one great-niece and great-nephew, several aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends; and two close cousins, Jesse and Teddy.
    Friends called 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, June 30, at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton, where funeral services were held 3 p.m. Friday with the Rev. David Tuttle officiating.
