PRESQUE ISLE – Lucy J. (Smith) Colby, 83, died Tuesday morning, June 28, 2011, in Presque Isle. She was born on May 23, 1928, in Sibley, Iowa, the daughter of Paul C. and Leah J. (Johnson) Smith.
She is survived by her husband, Ben A. Colby Jr. of Presque Isle; a daughter, Paula Barrett and her husband, Sam of Presque Isle; two granddaughters: Samantha McDorr of Buxton, and Leah Drost of Presque Isle; five great-grandchildren.
