Crown makes dreams a reality

The business is owned by Lisa and Bill Levasseur.
“Crown can book just about everything for travel accommodations, airline tickets, hotel stays, car rentals, Disney packages, all-inclusive resort stays, cruises with Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Princess and much more,” said Lisa Levasseur. “We cover all aspects of travel — airline tickets, hotel reservations, car rentals, vacation and tour packages, train reservations and packages, as well as cruise packages.”
Located at 439 Main St., Presque Isle, Crown has been in business 18 years. The business uses a travel agent booking system which allows agents the most up-to-date air fare inventory.
“This enables Crown staff to see the lowest fares presently available in the market,” she said. Crown has three full-time employees.
“Customer service is very important. Travel is very detailed these days. We need to be able to communicate well and be available to assist the minute our clients walk through the door and continue to be available until the trip ends,” Levasseur said. “Our standards of customer service are very high.”
“The travel business is always changing; it’s very important to us to keep current and to relay those changes to the traveler,” continued Levasseur.
Crown also receives notifications when Disney has specials; this enables Crown to apply these deals even onto pre-existing Disney bookings.
“That’s a potential for a lot of savings while on vacation,” noted Levasseur.
Crown uses a wide array of packaging companies, allowing them the ability to find the lowest price available for your next all-inclusive resort stay.
“If you’re flexible with your destination, they can search all of the Caribbean to find the best-priced accommodations available,” Levasseur said.
Crown also has relationships with all the well-known cruise lines and can easily quote which has the best cruise rates available.
Business hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon.
