Find treasures in the Attic

Whether you’re looking for a gift for a house-warming party or looking to do a bit of redecorating in your own home, The Olde Rustic Attic, located at the Aroostook Centre Mall in Presque Isle, will be sure to please.

Owners Paula and Stephen Reynolds are confident you’ll find just the right item, no matter what you’re looking for, be it for the bedroom, living room, kitchen or bath.

“We offer a great home décor, primitive furniture, curtains, candles, prints, signs, lamps, twig lights, tart burners, tarts and so much more,” said Paula Reynolds.

For over five years, the husband and wife team have been working with customers, continuing to grow and change through an ever-evolving line of merchandise. The Reynolds have an eye for rustic designs, carrying dozens of items that can be mixed and matched to your heart’s delight.

“We have been open since May 2006 but before that we used to set up a booth for the Christmas season,” said Stephen Reynolds, noting the seasonal business did so well they decided it was a good idea to go year-round. Customer suggestions are always welcome.

“We try our best to carry what the customers are asking for. If we don’t have what they are looking for, we send them either to other stores in the mall or downtown,” said Paula. “We do our part to promote business in Presque Isle.”

The Reynolds have three employees who provide quality service to old and new customers.

“Customer service is so important. We have layaway, a bridal registry and, when it’s possible, we will wrap gifts,” said Stephen.

The atmosphere is inviting, with the owners and staff greeting customers with warm smiles.

“We absolutely love what we are doing and we hope that it reflects in our store. Every time we go on one of our shopping trips, we try to find new items. We have many repeat customers who can’t wait to see the latest find,” said Paula. “A couple of our hottest sellers are the twig lights and battery-operated candles.”

Business hours are 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday-Saturday; Sunday, noon to 5 p.m. For more information, call 764-5969 or find the business on Facebook.
