PRESQUE ISLE — Police are investigating two thefts that occurred last week at McCluskey’s RV Center on the Houlton Road.

The Presque Isle Police Department received a call from the owner, Gary McCluskey, around 5:08 p.m. Aug. 22 reporting someone had stolen all the power cords to the RVs on the lot. The estimated value of the property taken was about $100.

Officer Rob Thibeault was assigned to investigate.

Police received a second call from McCluskey later in the week reporting yet another theft — this time involving televisions.

“Gary called around 10:15 a.m. on Aug. 24, initially reporting at least one flat screen TV was stolen out of a camper. He indicated they were taking an inventory to see if anything else was missing,” said Officer Brian McQuarrie, who responded to the second report.

McCluskey subsequently discovered at least five televisions had been removed from campers parked on the company lot.

“There was a total of five flat screens taken worth about $2,600,” said McQuarrie.

The case remains under investigation.
