PINETTE, Albert J., 65, LAKELAND, FL & PORTAGE LAKE, ME, at Lakeland, September 11, 2011. There will be a small service by his parents’ gravesite at the Portage Cemetery on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 2 p.m.
LAKELAND, FL & PORTAGE LAKE, ME – Albert J. Pinette, 65, passed away September 11, 2011, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center after a long illness. He was born in Portage Lake on April 18, 1946, the son of Edmonds (Buster) and Florence Pinette.
Albert served in the U.S. Army for a time. He worked for Smithbilt of Florida for 27 years. He would return to Portage where he loved to fish, hunt and visit family.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie, of 31 years; their son, Joey Pinette; and two grandchildren Kelsey and Konner, who meant the world to him, all from Lakeland, FL. He is also survived by four brothers: Reginald and his wife, Rachel of Portage Lake, Leonard (Snuffy) and his wife, Joyce of of Washburn, Clarence (Whitey) and his wife, Dorothy of Wallingford, Conn., and Larry and his wife Betty of Meriden, Conn.; two sisters: Arlene Daigle of Winterville, and Irene and her husband, Lorne Boyles Sr., of Portage Lake; several nieces and nephews; and one very very special niece, Tammy O’Clair who was with him when he passed.
He was predeceased by his parents and a son, Eric.
