The Washburn Beavers continue to lead the heal point standings in Eastern Maine Class D, but did drop a game last week to the Easton Bears.

Summaries of matches played through Monday are as follows:
Washburn 6, Ashland 1 — Mitchell Worcester scored twice and set up another goal to lead Washburn to a 6-1 victory over Ashland. Jordan McLaughlin scored two goals for 6-2-1 Washburn and Justin Farley contributed a goal and an assist. Cameron Bragg had the other goal. Zach Davis made seven saves on 12 shots.
Michael Cook scored on Royce MacDonald assist for 0-6 Ashland. J.J. Dozier made 22 saves on 30 shots.
John Bapst 3, Caribou 2 — At Caribou Saturday, Matt Milliard scored two goals for the Vikings but it wasn’t enough as the John Bapst Crusaders found the back of the net three times to win 3-2. Matt Manter made four saves on nine shots for the 1-5 Vikings.
Easton 2, Washburn 0 — The two top ranked teams in Eastern Maine Class D met in Washburn on Thursday where the Easton Bears avenged their only loss of the year with a 2-0 win over the Beavers. Cody Tompkins preserved the shutout with 11 saves on 18 shots for Easton. Cody Halvorson and Holden Turner scored second half goals to give Easton, now 8-1, the win.
Zach Davis made eight saves on 20 shots for 5-2-1 Washburn.
Madawaska 6, Limestone/MSSM 0 — At Madawaska, Ian Lee scored three goals to propel the Owls to their seventh victory without a loss. Matt Deschenes tallied one goal and one assist for Madawaska, while Sam Cyr and Matt Boucher scored a goal each.
Dylan Michaud made 17 saves on 40 shots for Limestone Community School/Maine School of Science and Mathematics.
Madawaska 3, Caribou 0 — At Caribou, the Madawaska Owls upped their record to 6-0 after dropping the Vikings 3-0. Aaron Thibeault scored a pair of goals for the Owls. Kyle Blanchette had 11 saves on 15 shots.
Matt Manter registered five saves for the 1-4 Vikings.
