CARIBOU — Anita J. Michaud, 49, died September 13, 2011 at her Caribou residence surrounded by her loving family following a brief illness. She was born in Fort Fairfield July 6, 1962 the daughter of Norman and Verna (Pelkey) Johndro. Anita was a graduate of Limestone High School and was employed as a paralegal with the firm of Currier and Trask for over seventeen years.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Ronald “Danny” Michaud of Caribou and her parents, Norman and Verna Johndro of Limestone, is her son, Jacob of Caribou; one brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Cuppy Johndro of Caribou; three sisters and two brothers-in-law Penny and Arkon Horne of Presque Isle, Lisa and George LaCasse of Caribou, and Paula Pischke of Limestone; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends called at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou 7-9 p.m. Thursday. A mass of Christian Burial was celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, September 16, 2011, from the Parish of the Precious Blood, Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Fr. Aaron Damboise, officiating.
