ASHLAND, MAINE and BOTHELL, WASHINGTON – Frederick “Fred” A. Patchell, 73, died suddenly at his home in Bothell, Washington, on September 3, 2011. Fred was born in Masardis, Maine, on October 8, 1937. He was the son of the late Walter O. and V. Helena (Coffin) Patchell.
Fred graduated from Ashland Community High School in the class of 1955. After graduation he enlisted for 4 years in the U.S. Air Force and then worked at Pratt and Whitney Aircraft in Connecticut and then 35 years at the Boeing Company in Everett, Washington.
Fred is survived by his wife, Virginia of 52 years, two daughters, Robin Patchell Bonifas of Phoenix, Arizona and Heidi Patchell of Bothell, Washington, one grand daughter, Rebecca Bailey, of Bothell, Washington, two sisters and one brother-in-law, Patricia and Ernest Lovely, of Chapman, Maine and Christine Kurutz of Bradenton, Florida.
Fred was predeceased by his mother and father, and one brother, Bernard Patchell. A memorial service is going to be held on October 1, 2011 in Bothell, Washington.
