On Friday, Sept.16, the Houlton Higher Education Center College Transitions class completed a week of college “Boot Camp”. During a week of mental and emotional preparation for college, topics covered were “Applying for Federal Financial Aid,” “College Application,” “Time Management,” “Career Exploration,” “Study Skills” and “Computer Essentials for College.” The students will visit college campuses in Presque Isle this fall and continue to work on their academic skills until the College Access Program (CAP) graduation on Dec. 1.
