The Aroostook Football League held its high school annual awards banquet on Nov. 9.
Recipient of the Offensive Player of the Year was Aaron Eastman of the Houlton Knights, while the Defensive Player of the Year was Jordan Mitchell of the Caribou Huskies.
The AFL Most Valuable Player Award was a tie between Houlton’s Quinn Harris and the Huskies’ Cody Flannery.
The President’s Award was presented to Dan Toby of the Knights, along with Deion Caudill of the Huskies and Josh Epstein of the Madawaska Mustangs.
Earning the Warrior’s Award was Josh Carmichael of the Houlton Knights, as well as Scott DeLong of the Huskies and Sam Thomas of the Mustangs.
The Houlton Knights were formally crowned as the Maine State Eight-Man Football League champions.
