MARS HILL — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted in connection with an assault.
“The Maine State Police are requesting the public’s assistance with locating a suspect in a violent domestic assault. Troopers are attempting to located Chad Walton, 30, of Mars Hill, for questioning in a domestic assault that occurred on the night of Nov. 20 in Mars Hill,” said Sgt. Brian Harris, MSP.
According to Harris, the female victim in the assault, whose name is not being released, was brought to a local hospital for serious facial injuries incurred in the assault. No additional information on her condition was available at presstime.
“Walton is described as 5-foot nine-inches tall, 160 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair and is believe to be in the Central Aroostook area. Walton was last seen operating a 1998 green four-door Chevy Malibu, with Maine registration 4041SE,” said Harris.
Anyone with information on Walton’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Maine State Police at 532-5400. Information will be kept confidential.
