PRESQUE ISLE — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted in connection with a home invasion over the weekend.
Jeffrey Sock
“The Presque Isle Police Department is investigating a home invasion that occurred on Winter Street at approximately 10:35 p.m. on Sunday,” said Sgt. Mark Barnes, PIPD.
Barnes and Officer Peter Johnson responded to the home after receiving a call from the resident reporting an intruder.
“Police received a 9-1-1 call from the resident who called to report that Jeffrey Sock, 31, of Presque Isle, had kicked in her front door and assaulted her boyfriend. Sock fled the scene before the police arrived. Police were unable to locate him,” said Barnes.
Barnes said a warrant for Sock’s arrest was sought and that when captured, Sock will face multiple charges.
“Charges include burglary, a Class B crime, assault, a Class D and criminal mischief, also a Class D,” said Barnes.
Anyone with knowledge of Sock’s whereabouts is asked to contact the PIPD at 764-4476.
