Caribou Middle School Basketball

The Caribou Middle School eighth grade boys basketball team has notched two more wins.

On Dec. 19, the Vikings played some impressive defense in downing previously unbeaten Fort Kent Warriors, 34-26.

Donovan Savage led Caribou in scoring with 12 points. Ricky Sheldon added eight points. Michael Hunter and Ethan Plourde chipped in with four points apiece.

The coach praised the defensive effort of Paul Hanson, Matt Carson and Tyler Dombroski.

On Dec. 20, the Vikings once again stepped up their defensive effort and held Madawaska to only nine points en route to a 32-9 win.

Carson led the balanced scoring attack with eight points, drilling two three-pointers. Sheldon added six points and Hanson five.

Earning props for their defense were Dylan LaMothe, Jordan Bevin and Zach Weatherhead.
