Jessica Lizotte, a member of the senior class at Caribou High School, was seriously injured in a motor vehicle accident on Dec. 20. In an effort to assist the Lizotte family with medical expenses there will be a benefit dinner and silent auction held on Thursday Jan. 19, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the CHS cafeteria.
The initial ideal and plans for the benefit supper was put into place by Evan Graves and Andrew Kirby, both teachers at the Caribou High School, and according to Graves members of the senior class as well as those from the CHS sophomore class are assisting with the organization of the Jan. 19, fundraiser.
The spaghetti dinner menu will include spaghetti, meat/veggie sauce, rolls and salad, topped off by a brownie ala mode, with other desserts also available. A silent auction will be held during the dinner and a donation jar will also in place at the door.
The cost for the dinner is $6 for adults and $4 for children under age 10.
All money raised will go to the Lizotte family to help with Jessica’s medical expenses.
