Applications are currently being accepted for the 2012 Little Miss Pageant, featuring contestants from Caribou, Connor and Woodland. The Little Miss Pageant will be held on Saturday, April 14 at the Caribou Performing Arts Center.

This pageant is open to young ladies who reside in Caribou, Connor and Woodland, and who are currently enrolled in grades 1, 2, or 3 at their respective schools.

Applications may be obtained by contacting Cheryl Bossie, pageant director at 496-2401.

The Little Miss Pageant is sponsored by the Lister/Knowlton VFW Auxiliary 9389.

Application deadline is March 9.

Jean Shaw, children’s librarian at the Caribou Public Library is extending an invitation to area children ages 7 years and older to attend the library’s 10th annual Doll Tea Party.

This year’s event, a “Snowflake Tea Party,” will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 22, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the library. Bring your favorite doll, come in out of the cold and enjoy “tea and cookies.”
