    CARIBOU – Brenda Munn, 62, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2012, at a Bangor hospital. She was born April 14, 1949, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Elwin and Anne (Grant) Munn.

    Brenda was very community minded and took pride in how it looked, and received many awards. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed walking. Brenda grew up in Presque Isle and loved to play baseball as a child. In later years, she loved to play games on her computer, woodworking and doing crafts. She also loved to have a good time and enjoyed children, especially her nieces and nephews.

    She is survived by four brothers: Charles of Presque Isle, Arthur of Augusta, Donald of Presque Isle, Michael and his wife, Valerie of Presque Isle; five sisters: Shirley Putnam and her husband, Donald, Jean Clark and her husband, Arthur, Elaine Tardiff, all of Presque Isle, Mavis Glidden and her husband, Kenneth of Crouseville, Bonnie Ouellette and her husband, Beecher of Presque Isle; as well as many nieces and nephews.

    In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Gary Munn.

    Friends may call 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St. Presque Isle. A graveside service will take place in the spring at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle.
