New Sweden – Gloria Ann (Dube) Perry, 61, passed away peacefully February 8, 2012, at her New Sweden residence surrounded by her family. Gloria was born on January 27, 1951, in Caribou the daughter of Raymond Joseph and Joan (Bosse) Dube.
Gloria loved spending time with all of her family. She is survived by her devoted husband of twenty five years, Paul W. Perry of New Sweden; her mother, Joan Dube of Caribou; her son, Raymond P. Charette of Bangor; and grandson, Cody Charette of Fort Fairfield; her daughter, Tonya, son-in-law, Christopher DiMillo, and grandson, Tiger DiMillo of Cumberland; her stepchildren, Melissa and Chuck Fletcher, Marci and Dale Driscoll, and Ryan and Dawn Perry; her step-grandchildren Rachel, Hillary and Emily Driscoll, Zack and Taylor Fletcher and Gracie, Micah, and Jonney Perry; mother-in-law Maxine Perry.
She is also survived by her four loving sisters, Carolyn McBreairty of Woodland, Vicki Dube-Labrie of New Sweden and Doreen Webb and Tina Wickstrom both of Edsington; brother-in-law, Richard Perry of Florida; many nieces and nephews. Gloria will also miss dearly her faithful canine companion, Tiffany. She was predeceased by her father.
Gloria’s compassion for others was shown through her 30 plus years in nursing, support of domestic violence awareness, and the years of involvement with the Caribou Lioness Club.
Friends and colleagues visited with the family from 6-7:30 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2012, at the Chan Center, Cary Medical Center Caribou. In keeping with Gloria’s wishes, graveside services will be held in the spring with family members.
