My sister died this morning. Oh, how I long to see her gay and glorious spirit just as it used to be. Is it possible that I’m joyful, when the one I loved has died? I see the heavens opened and there’s laughter all around. Oh, how can I be so selfish? And regret the joy she’s found? My dear Lord, I do thank you for letting me be near this strong and loving sister who was
so very dear.
