PRESQUE ISLE — The following cases were heard in the District Court in Presque Isle during the month of December.
Matthew Turner, 22, Presque Isle: operating while license suspended or revoked, prior, $500 fine.
• Joshua F. Violette, 29, Ashland: refusing to submit to arrest or detention, physical force, $200 fine. Paul A. Wasson, 20, Presque Isle: minor purchasing liquor, $200 fine.
• Philip J. Wasson, 71, Fort Fairfield: motor vehicle speeding, 30-plus mph over speed limit, filed on $100 costs.
• Joey R. White, Jr., 27, Caribou: operating while license suspended or revoked, $250 fine.
• Patrick L. White, 23, Caribou: motor vehicle speeding, 30-plus mph over speed limit, $400 fine and 30-day license suspension.
• Mark Whitmore, 51, Caribou: refusing to submit to arrest or detention, physical force; criminal threatening; disorderly conduct, loud unreasonable noise; violating condition of release, 20 days in jail (each); and refusing to sign criminal summons, dismissed.
• Stephen A. Wierzbowski, 27, Ashland: violating condition of release, $250 fine and 48 hours in jail.
• Christopher A. Willette, 36, Sheridan: operating vehicle without license, $200 fine.
• Philip Willey, 20, Caribou: possession of marijuana, up to 1.25 oz., $350 fine; and minor transporting liquor, $250 fine.
• Ashlee L. Wright, 24, Washburn: violating condition of release and violating protective order, $500 fine and five days in jail (each).
• Michael A. York, 23, Fort Fairfield: failing to register vehicle and attaching false plates, 48 hours in jail (each); failing to make oral or written accident report, five days in jail and 30-day license suspension; false public alarm or report, $250 fine and five days in jail; and operating while license suspended or revoked, $250 fine.
