EMCC Dean’s List
BANGOR — Each semester the Academic Dean prepares for the president a list of those Dean’s List students who have earned a grade point average of 4.0. President Lawrence Barrett is pleased to acknowledge Jorden M. Osnoe of Sherman for achieving this honor.
U-Maine Machias Dean’s List
MACHIAS — The following local residents were among more than 260 students from the University of Maine at Machias who were named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2011 semester: Earlene McEwen and Sarah Valji, both of Houlton; Barbara Redman, Monticello; Diana White, Oakfield; Cheyenne Robinson, Mount Chase.
The University of Maine at Machias is New England’s only public Environmental Liberal Arts college, offering an undergraduate education uniquely grounded in the natural, social, cultural, and economic environments of coastal Maine. As the smallest member of the University of Maine System, UMaine-Machias enrolls an average of 1,000 students with a student-faculty ratio of 13:1, and offers degree programs in 12 fields of study.
U-Maine Dean’s List
Recently the University of Maine recognized 1,947 students for achieving Deans List honors in the Fall 2011 semester. Of the students who made the Deans List, 1,689 are from Maine, 203 are from out of state, and 55 are from foreign countries.
Omitted from the list in a prior publication of honorees were: Shelby Hartin of Crystal and Andrew Vetter, Andrew Hawkins; Shelbe Lane of Patten; and Kasi Parker, Danforth.
