Houlton to host Jazz Festival

Houlton High School will be hosting the District 7 Instrumental Jazz Festival on Wednesday, Feb. 29 in the high school auditorium.
Performances will begin at 4:30 p.m. with county schools, including Houlton Junior High, Fort Kent Middle School, Presque Isle Middle School, Presque Isle High School, Caribou High School and Houlton High School all scheduled to participate.
    The District Festival is a great way to hear students perform without having to travel far from home and a great way to preview performances before the State Festivals in March.
Tickets are $3 for adults, $2 for students and senior citizens, and $10 for a family (up to five tickets).
Come and enjoy a night of Instrumental Jazz music brought to you by our local students.
