The gymnasium of the Connor School was turned into the Globe Theatre on Feb. 10 when 37 students performed Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” with help from Kyle Aarons and Kaitlyn Glover of Children’s Stage Adventures, based out of New Hampshire. Of the 37 participating students were, from left: Christian St. Peter, playing Snug; Nicholas Lizotte, playing Snout; Coleson Theriault, playing Starveling and Allyson Shrewsberry playing Bottom. Officials with the school were able to coordinate the week-long play endeavor through fundraising, the awarding of a Perloff Grant and support from Director of the Division of School Operations in Augusta, Shelley Lane.
