Game Time
NBA star player
Boston Celtics
Starting point guard
Big game coming up

Pre-game meal
Loud warm up music
Silky freshly made jersey
Feeling like the man
Flawless in warm-ups
Couldn’t miss a basket
Whole team counting on me
Nicknamed Big G
Standing at 6 ft 4 in
Breathtaking muscles
African American
Whistle blows
Center tips me the ball
Can’t dribble, can’t walk
Can’t do anything
I feel like jello
Disappointing dream

Off Again
The most beautiful creature
Frolicking through the prairie
Throwing around
its flowing mane
Listen to their hooves
as they pound the ground.
The sun is setting,
But the golden sunset
still beats down on them.
Searched for water
They finally found it.
One drink each.
And then they’re off
Again.

Untitled
How did he end up
with a girl like me?
I still felt strongly about him
Enough to make me blush
My day couldn’t get better
He stood, holding my hand
Closer
So close
I could feel his heart beating
I heard him whisper
‘I love you’
‘I love you too’
It all changed
But we hadn’t moved an inch
We were on a cliff
The ledge
I let go of him, running away
He took my hand
He held me close
He just let go, and lightly pushed me
I was falling
Falling for him

King of the Mountain
White mountains
Like frosting
upon my cupcakes
Stack high
Along the cold blue water
Pieces of ice
Are scattered among the river
Fog lines the glacier tops
As if it were best friends
Close, and dependable
This is my envious place
Where I can be king
of the mountain

The What
Something flying like a bird through the trees.
Waiting, watching
for the next meal.
Hiding from prey
in the tree tops.
Slimy, slippery, gooey feel.
You can hear me
all throughout the night.
Red eyes darting every where.
Finding someone
to love me for me.
That would be
a good life for me.
Have you guessed what I am?
Well, have you?

Item
This item is rarely shown
It comes out of hiding
more in Hawaii
It’s the farthest thing from cold
It would burn you
as soon as it touched you
It makes amazing pictures
You’d be considered silly if you were caught playing with it
It’s easy to make
paintings of this
Even animals don’t
like hibernating around this
This item finds
itself in a huge solid mass
You can do some
climbing on this volcano

Nature’s Beauty
It ruffles its beautiful feathers, coming in all sorts of colors
Sky blue, gold, black, green, white – you name it.
In the damp and warm forest, you can see it,
Constantly echoing cries
to its relatives.
The next thing you know,
It’s out and soaring
through the clear skies,
And you can enjoy
the breathtaking view of it,
Wings spread out and catching the sun’s warmth.
It imitates
the sound of people speaking,
Word by word.
Stays alert at all times,
Round eyes moving
back and forth, back and forth.
At last, it goes
back to the forest filled
with hidden creatures,
Goes back to its beloved home.

South Park
Best T.V. show
I’m a part of it
Broadway Bro-Down
I’m making the show
I have competition
I want my show to be produced
Broadway Bro-Down
Take a swing
It’ll be my show
Take a swing
I win
The most random dream
a person can have

An Image So Clear
To Me
With the blue fading waters back beyond
the blurred out red flowers
to the right,
views of home
dark and beautiful
shine to the left
different shades of brown, green and tan
grasses spread
throughout the ground
like the sun reflection
spreading onto
the waters right before
the world turns dark
the smell of salty water extends
throughout the home land,
the fog that hovers
over the water makes
it hard to illustrate
the picture that appears
so clear to me
as I look into the picture
on my screen
I go back into that world where no one knows me
and I think to myself,
how beautiful life can be.

Boston
To the skatepark
Met Rob Dyrdek
Got an autograph
Started to skate.
Skated for a couple of hours
Hungry
Hard to find a restaurant
Couldn’t agree
Back to the hotel
Off to bed.
Woke up
More skateboarding.
Time to go back home.

Brown Bear
Trip, Trop, Trample,
as he tears through the forest.
Lightheartedly
harassing all the woodland creatures,
wandering his way
to the big river
Swish, Swirl
The forest opens before him
see the fish swim by
snatch at one
no luck
Splash
into the water,
seeing mother on the other side
run,splash
dive into the water
silly, fun

Marks on the World
Inspired by photo: Footprints in the Sand
Marks left behind
from a long joyful day
soon to be washed away
by the roaring ocean
that dances and thrashes nearby
at the edge of the shore
an imprint is left
on the gravelly sand
it is abandoned and left behind
but leaving
the mark from a person
and a trail that insists the ground was walked on
Marks are left on the beach
during the long wishful day
the owner has left
a part of them behind
that will soon be devoured by the lively ocean
