Athletic Hall of Fame ceremony this weekend
The Presque Isle High School Athletic Hall of Fame induction will be held Saturday, May 12. At 1 p.m. the inductees will be introduced prior to the beginning of the baseball/softball double header which will be played at the high school fields.
The induction ceremony will be held at the Shriners Building on the Houlton Road with a social half hour beginning at 5:30 p.m. followed by a buffet style meal at 6 p.m.
At the conclusion of the meal each inductee or their representative will be introduced for induction.
The Class of 2012 inductees are Eugene Hunter, Steve Condon, Darci Collins McCrum, Stacy Hafford Barnes, Melissa Blackstone Gogain, Jim Dyer, Jim Lyford and Jim Carter.
Tickets are $25 for the event and can be purchased at the PIHS Athletic Office, Star City IGA, Graves Shop N’ Save or contact Jim Carter at 764-1217.
