Beta Sigma Phi meets
The Preceptor Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met at the home of Miriam Gregg on April 12. Lynn Walton was co-hostess. New officers appointed were: President Gregg, Vice President Cathy Allen, Treasurer Sue Czosnek, Recording Secretary Emily Knight, and Corresponding Secretary Cam Hayward.
Plans were made to attend the annual banquet on April 26, which celebrates the organization’s founder.
In other business, members discussed fundraising. Walton generously donated a hand-crafted quilt. Members will sell raffle tickets on the quilt starting this spring.
After the meeting members shared family news and enjoyed delicious refreshments brought by Walton, Bernice Belanger and Jane James.
