The Aroostook River Fun Run Canoe and Kayak Race will be held Saturday, May 19.
The race goes from Washburn to Presque Isle and is eight miles of flat water. The race is family oriented. Registration: 8 a.m.; with the race start at 10 a.m.
Registration fee includes lunch and awards ceremony.
The event also features a Bicycle Poker Run along the rail trail from Washburn to Presque Isle.
