Having moved to Maine from Georgia two years ago, the Collins family of Houlton have made an effort to take their children to a number of parks, landmarks, and unique places that make Maine what it is. They have tapped maple trees, looked for sea glass on the beaches, and tried to see a number of lighthouses. “I am always the one taking the pictures and it is therefore hard to find pictures of me with the kids,” said mom, Jennifer. “This picture was taken in July, 2011 at the Portland Head Light with my children Emalee, left, and Eston.”
