The project, started back in 1989, brings kids from all over the world together for the annual ACES event.

This year, first- through fifth-grade students of the Woodland Consolidated school participated in Zumba in the gym, put on by Zumba instructor Karen Ouellette. Sixth- through eighth-grade students walked the school’s ski trails.

In New Sweden, students also had a variety of activities. They bouldered, played with the parachute, hula-hooped and jumped rope.
