Rep. Joyce A. Fitzpatrick presented a copy of the video called “The Point of No Return” to both Hodgdon High School and Houlton High School. The video is a 30-minute film produced by Video Creations, Kennebunk, about the dangers of underage drinking and driving. LT. Kevin P. Donovan, Commanding Officer of Troop G of the Maine State Police said of the film, “The Point of No Return movie is a realistic portrayal of the consequences of bad decisions made by young people. It is a gripping testimonial to the peer pressures that kids deal with daily.  It should be mandatory viewing for all high school age students.” In presenting the video to Mary Harbison, Principal of Hodgdon High School, left, Rep. Fitzpatrick expressed the hope that it would reach students and make them think twice about the consequences of underage drinking, especially when faced with invitations surrounding proms and graduation events.
