    HOULTON – Randal “Randy” McLeod, 57, passed away unexpectedly May 16, 2012, at Harmony House, Houlton, where he lived for the past year. He was born Aug. 3, 1954, at Nassau Hospital in New York, son of Alan and Helen McLeod.
    Randy was known for his great sense of humor. He often laughed out loud, especially when someone dropped something, tripped, bumped into something or was telling a story. He enjoyed observing others and was quick to join in any laughter around him. He previously lived at David and Sewall Street Home, Island Falls, starting in 1980. Randy learned to communicate his needs through sign language and his drink of choice was chocolate milk. Randy will be remembered by many close friends and staff, including Dana, Arlene, Edie, Pat, Wealthy, Cindy, Angie, Judy and all those who worked with him at Harmony House; and Roger Randall. He was predeceased by his parents.
    Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 21, at Bowers Funeral Home, Sherman Street, Island Falls. A gathering of friends was held immediately after services at David Street Home, Island Falls, with a luncheon being served and stories being shared.
