The museum was established in 2002 to preserve items used by County residents with an emphasis on farming. This collection has grown by leaps and bounds and fills the museum which was originally the Littleton Elementary School located on U.S. Route 1. Since opening 10 years ago, the organization has also built a barn that houses farm machinery and moved a one-room school to the property.
The museum begins its summer season, Saturday, June 16 and will be open for tours throughout the summer on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 1-4 p.m. or by appointment. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children. The museum is a 501(c)3 organization operated by volunteers. For more information call 532-7125.
