Summer reading programs at public library

The Caribou Public Library will be sponsoring their “Dream Big, Read” summer reading program, for area youth in grades 1 through 4 on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from 1 to 2 p.m.

Summer programs for young readers in grades 5 through 8 include the following.

• Book group for grades 5 – 8 will meet weekly on Mondays from 1 to 2 p.m. to read “The Night Tourist” by Katherine Marsh. This group will also perform a reader’s theater at the end of the program.

• “Dream Interpretation and Journaling” will be held on Monday June 25, from 6 to 7 p.m.

• An “Evening of Relaxation” will feature a yoga demonstration on Monday July 9, from 6 to 7 p.m.

• Help solve the mystery at the “Book Fair of Death Murder Mystery” program on Monday July 30 from 6 to 7 p.m.

• There will also be an on-going reading log program for grades 5 – 12 throughout the summer.
